Our Story

CalcWorks acquired the trusted TruStage Calc Engine software, a cornerstone technology used by credit unions, banks, finance companies, and insurance carriers for nearly three decades.

Originally created by CUNA Mutual Group in the 1990s, the Calc Engine became the under-the-hood standard for compliant loan and insurance calculations. Through a joint venture with TruStage, CalcWorks ensures uninterrupted service, modern updates, and a roadmap for innovation while preserving the proven reliability thousands of financial institutions depend on every day.

The Calc Engine is not a platform. It is a service that can be deployed almost anywhere there is a need: on-prem, as a web service, or embedded within partner systems.
